"People of Tertium, hear me. We are the Moebian Sixth, returned and redeemed." - Captain Wolfer
"Yeah, Captain Wolfer's a bastard - but he's our bastard." - Moebian 6th Sergeant
Captain Wolfer is the leader of the Moebian 6th traitors invading Tertium. Wolfer was a tough and respected leader of the 6th before turning traitor, and in the past the people of Tertium viewed the 6th as Tertium's greatest heroes. They once fought for the glory and protection of their home, but they now invade it and make war.
Personality[]
"Wolfer's tough, but he's fair. Raw recruit or lifer: cross him and you're done." - Moebian 6th Sergeant
Wolfer's men saw him as tough but fair, treating any highborn or ganger equally. If they crossed him they were done.
Wolfer is a great leader who inspires loyalty in his lasmen, both through his speeches and acts on and off the battlefield. Being a powerful melee combatant who is always found where the fighting is thickest, he'd even assist in training new recruits in close-quarters combat drills.
Wolfer has saved his men's lives many times over, his many ravaged facial features and scars being evidence of these heroics.
Eventually, the events on Nox Alpha would twist Wolfer, among other Moebian 6th leaders, and subsequently those who followed him. He would feel betrayed by the Imperium and their hypocrisy, feeling he and his men were left to die on Nox Alpha and many times before.
War on Atoma[]
In the events leading up to the war, an assumed civilian uprising and plague would beset Tertium from the lower hive levels. Coincidently, the Moebian 6th seem to have been were on a resupplying on Atoma. These events occurred at some point after the Moebian 6th's campaign on Nox Alpha.
In the World Intro Trailer, Captain Wolfer can be seen kneeling, likely pledging to an alliance of sorts between Cult of Admonition and the Moebian Sixth. This takes place in the Acolyte initiation intro cutscene and is occurring on Atoma prior to Wolfer's capture by a squad of rejects sent by the Inquisition. Then he would be imprisoned aboard the Tancred Bastion and the events of the prologue would unfold.
Post escape, Captain Wolfer fled to the traitor bastions deep within Tertium. He first resurfaced to taunt and tempt reject strike teams by hacking into their vox comms during Magistrati Oubliette TM8-707 assassination missions. During these, players infiltrate a former prison, now heretic stronghold to kill a Scab Captain.
With the "Traitor Curse" update, Wolfer has reappeared with style. Revealed as the apparent leader of the Moebian 6th traitors, they have made the Carnival District a traitor bastion. Two of his lieutenants, the Karnak twins, are leading the area's operations. A form of performance enhancing combat stimms have been smuggled into the city and are in circulation among the traitors.
The Sixth and Admonition[]
The cult and the Moebians seems to share a belief in a "dark truth". In Wyrmwood Vox Transmission VII, Wyrmwood is convinced the Sixth are carriers and brought some kind of heresy or contagion from the frontlines of the Fringe Wars. This could've been shared with the cult prior to the uprising during a resupply on Atoma, seeding the foundations of the cult. The warp-touched contagion is mentioned prior to the sixth's reassignment to help quarantine parts of Tertium, being first mentioned in Wyrmwood Vox Transmission III.
Although they share some kind of faith, the cult being far more fanatical, Wolfer appears to have some level of disdain for the dregs, viewing them as sloppy and undisciplined. During the Carnival raid mission, he expresses intentions to feed any dregs to the poxxers if they disappoint him, regardless of whether they succeed or fail in repelling the reject squad.
Nox Alpha[]
Martyr's Skulls - Warp Echoes[]
Warp Echoes heard from touching Marty Skulls recount moments from the Nox Alpha campaign from the perspective of Moebian 6th Loyalists.
Captain Wolfer[]
- I tell you, no one gives a speech like Captain Wolfer. I’d follow that man anywhere.
- You want to sharpen up your close quarters drill, recruit. Talk to Wolfer. He knows all the tricks.
- Wolfer's tough, but he's fair. Raw recruit or lifer: cross him and you're done.
- Yeah, Captain Wolfer's a bastard - but he's our bastard.
- Don’t mind Wolfer’s scars, recruit. You’ll soon have plenty of your own.
- Wolfer's scars? He earned them saving men under his command, so watch your lip, got it?
- Wolfer gives you an order, you get it done. Simple as that, if you know what’s good for you.
- Where’s Wolfer? In the thick of the fighting, where else?
- Wolfer’s got a new priest by his side. Maybe she transferred from a different company.
- I’m hearing something strange went on with Wolfer’s company last night…
- Sir? This is Sergeant Geeren at Anchorpoint Jorholm. Wolfer's men are killing everyone! We need help!
- Word just came down from command. Wolfer’s turned traitor … Blessed Throne …
- Wolfer. The Karnaks ... Half the bleeding officer corps have turned traitor ...
Captain Helmag[]
- Captain Helmag relies on Wolfer too much. A leader’s got to lead by herself, right?
- Command’s been giving the captain the runaround about supplies again. She needs to toughen up.
- Captain Helmag put Rodin Karnak up on charges again. Wolfer’ll get them cleared, you’ll see.
- Wolfer’s rages are getting worse. Captain Helmag can’t keep covering for him much longer.
- Captain Helmag took a round at Nihil Ridge. Doesn’t look good.
Quotes[]
Traitor Curse Speech[]
"People of Tertium, hear me. We are the Moebian Sixth, returned and redeemed. Their chains no longer bind us. Their bastions can no longer hold us. Once we were lost, like you, blinded by faith and acceptance. Only when our eyes were open did we truly see the lies for what they were. We are your sons. We are your daughters. We have come home. It is our solemn pledge to bring about a new and glorious age of freedom and prosperity. Join us and cast off the falsehoods of the Emperor..."
Mission Dialogue[]
During the Magistrati Oubliette TM8-707, Captain Wolfer will hack into the Inquisition's voxcomms. In Mercantile HL-70-04 and Hab Dreyko missions, Sergeant-Major Morrow will do the same, hacking into the heretic's voxcomms via a device crafted by Hadron.

Trivia[]
- Sergeant Major Morrow and Captain Wolfer are both voiced by the same person, Harry Myers.
- Since standard Imperial Guard Regiments are led by Colonels, it can be assumed Wolfer killed, corrupted, or coerced the Moebian 6th's commanding officers. Eventually becoming the de facto leader himself.
- Wolfer's helmet is inspired by the helmet of Enforcer Hakon from the Vraksian Renegade Militia. His chest plate also seems to be based upon the Traitor Enforcer model for Warhammer 40,000: Kill Team's own.
