There are many other less-expendable members of Grendyl's warband working aboard the Mourningstar. There roles include operatives, adepts, and overseers. It can be assumed that operatives are grunts and the muscle, adepts are the specialists and intelligence, and overseers are the administration.
There are 14 Inquisitorial crewmembers stationed around the mission hub area used by the Warband's rejects. Each of these minor background characters have a unique name, a handful of different face/body presets, and unique voice actors/dialogue. One is even voiced by Matt Ward (perhaps Overseer Marssett?).
- Unknown Operative (Now: Psykhanium, left) (Formerly: entrance, left) - no name, no voice files - (Swapped locations with unnamed operative in Unlocked and Loaded update)

- Operative Marroc (Barber Chirurgeon guard) - Devout follower of the Imperial Creed.
- Operative Lensk (Psykhanium guard, right) - Cheery, old bloke. Keen on Imperial loyalty.
- Operative Prask (Now: entrance, left) (Formerly: Psykhanium, left) - A soldier either toyed with by Sefoni or plagued by moderate Warp-influence. Depressed and pessimistic.
- Adept Leng (Mission Terminal, male) - Professional
- Adept Stane (Mission Terminal, female) - Loose-cannon that's predisposed to violence.
- Overseer Nessian (Seated at computer) - A snob
- Overseer Marsett (Standing by computer, near hangar) - A bit snooty.
Quotes[]
What they respond with a positive or negative remark depends on the player's level. The higher the level, the more highly they think of you, giving friendly comments.
Warband crewmembers will make negative comments at fresh rejects until level 11. From levels 11 through 26 comments will have a more mild range, sometimes being neutral or sarcastic. Once past level 26, warband crewmembers will fully accept the player-character as a fellow acolyte of the warband.

Trivia[]
Operative Lensk would have his uniform changed from green to red (to match the other operatives onboard) in the Secretes of the Machine God update.
- "Addressed a uniform infringement on an NPC Guard stationed by the Psykhanium on the Mourningstar." (Secrets of the Machine God, pt. 2)
