Poxbursters are a type of specialist and act as a 'suicide bomber' unit.
Overview[]
Heretics infused with Nurgle's Blessings and explosive canisters, Poxbursters slowly lumber towards their target and emit a distinct ticking sound. Once they get closer, this ticking grows more frequent until they get close enough where they'll run and then jump at the players. The explosion knocks back anyone in the radius and inflicts 5% corruption.
Strategy[]
- Poxbursters make a distinct tick and their distance can be gauged by the frequency of the ticks.
- Any attack that inflicts knockback (A Psyker's Smite) can throw a Poxburster off their feet, even if they've jumped and armed their payload.
- If they're hit enough, a Poxburster can explode and kill enemies around them.
