Scab Trappers are a type of Specialist Heretic. They can be encountered as part of randomised encounters.
Overview[]
Trappers specialise in immobilising their target through the use of their electric nets. Usually, they spawn behind the Strike Team and run towards their target. Once in range of a target, they shoot their net at them. Once they manage to catch their foe, they'll pull them back and into danger where other enemies can further damage until another player can free them. Trappers do not deal damage themselves but their nets slowly damage their captive.
If they miss, Trappers retreat to a safe location to rearm and re-attempt.
Strategy[]
- Trappers are easily recognised by experienced players with their distinct gasping, laughter and quotes.
- Their attacks are slow as they must wind-up before launching; Allowing attentive players to avoid getting caught. They also do not attack once they miss until they re-arm.
- Trappers should be eliminated once they've been sighted to prevent them from disrupting the team.
