Special Events are time-limited events that sometimes offer unique rewards and crafting materials.
The most recent Special Events have featured new time-limited Special Conditions during the event. Special Events sometimes act as preludes and steps leading to narrative updates in the war for Tertium, i.e. new content being added.
During these events, an event progress tracker with an event briefing is added to the player's overlay, alongside their Contract and Penance trackers. players are rewarded in-game currencies (ordo dockets, plasteel, Aquilas, and diamantine) for completing the event's objectives. Progress is typically shared across all members of the strike team and is account-wide.
